Bay Point is Getting a New Library!

Contra Costa County has approved the development of a new multi-use community named Orbisonia Village. It spans seven acres and includes residential spaces, commercial retail space, and a new county library!

The site for Orbisonia Village is on Bailey Road between Highway 4 and West Leland Road. It is adjacent to Ambrose Park, across the street from the Oak Hills Shopping Center, and a block from the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station.

Share your Input

We are holding community meetings with local residents to gather input. The viewpoints shared in these meetings will inform the design of the new library.

If you are interested in informing the project or joining a future meeting, please fill out a short 3-minute interest form.

Community Engagement Timeline

You can complete the survey (see link on this page), which includes questions about the type of library services most desired.

Join us at the next Community Meeting on April 30th at 5:30 PM at the current Bay Point Library located adjacent to Riverview Middle School at 205 Pacifica Ave.

There are multiple ways for Bay Point residents to engage and provide input
